The movie is so visually stunning that posters for it (both official and fan-made) tend to rely on showing the iconic scenes, verbatim. These scenes are usually also the most brutal. Instead of doing that I wanted to focus on the disorienting aspects of the film: loud colours, distracting patterns, and nods to MC Escher that made Suzy feel like she'd gone down the rabbit hole. I also wanted to play on the fact that we only see the world of Suspiria through the experiences of Suzy... or those who are about to die. Considering this, if you've seen it, you'll get what's happening here. Finally, I tried to create something that could have been used in the marketing back in 1977. The tagline is from the cover of the VHS copy we rented in the 90s, but translated into Italian to bring it back to the film's roots. "The only thing more terrifying than the last 12 minutes of this film are the first 92."
