


Jasmine Atay - The Mushroom Show
Jasmine Atay is an emerging artist and designer based in Calgary, Alberta. In 2022 she was recipient of an Individuals and Collectives grant through Calgary Arts Development for her project proposal titled Halo Halo. Her artwork has been featured in the Newcomer Magazine and alongside multidisciplinary online collaborations with the Philippine Art Council. She has also exhibited in various group exhibitions including “Spotlight Exhibition” at Alberta University of the Arts and “Lasting Impressions” with Alberta Printmakers. Currently, Atay is working on Halo Halo, a multimedia showcase featuring four first-generation Filipinos/Canadians and the impacts living in Canada has on their sense of identity. Halo Halo is set to be exhibited at the Confluence spring 2025.
