HALLOWEEN 2008 PARTY/SHOW!
For the life of me, I
cannot think of some stupid overused pun to tie in
and tell you that you are invited to party with us on Halloween—but you
are! Come on down to Burnt Toast and get your Halloween on while
witnessing the holy revelation that will be the new studio as well as
new work from all the artists. Featuring Calgary's own
The Summerlad
and DJ Adam Analog, there is absolutely no
better plans to have this
hallows eve. Dress code is in effect with bonus points if anyone comes
as a convincing Rick Astley!

NEW MEMBERS!
Joining the ranks of things that come best in tens, such as provinces, plagues and commandments, Burnt Toast Studio is pleased to announce the addition of no less than 5 new members, rounding out our posse of printmakers to the divine deca!
Camille Betts, Brad Snyder, Adam Warner, Danielle Schlamp, and Sherwin Tsang bring in fresh perspectives and superb work, broadening and deepening the Burnt Toast cache. Check out their work and a little bit about their quirky little selves, here.

AND...WE'RE BACK!
OKAY! So let's just skip the fact that our last updates were little over a year ago, shall we? We are back! And we missed you.
Burnt
Toast Studio has moved! Outgrowing our lovely home in
Ogden, we have
since relocated to even lovelier Highland Park, at 215 -
36 Avenue NE,
Unit 5. Upgrades to our new space include an additional
500 square
feet, increasing our total space to 1400 square
feet. Two
levels of studio space have allowed for an increase in both printing
equipment and the addition of a really sweet couch. Check out before

Then come visit us, we have been wondering how
you are.

ANOTHER BURNT TOAST STUDIO BABY!!Sheila and Jayson had a baby boy!!..
Griffin (Finn) is a healthy (7.1Lbs) jumbo shrimp that crash landed on the planet...
The whole Burnt Toast gang would like to welcome to earth this new little alien (AKA "little bundle of joy").

THE BURNT TOAST STUDIO FAMILY IS
GROWING....
And in more than one
way...
Doug and Shanna
Jaap have a little boy named
Doherty born earlier in July. We can't
wait to see his handprints all over the studio!..
James and Louisa Jensen are on their way
to China to pick up Kaili, their lives are
gonna be turned upside down now that they have a daughter!..
Mucho love and congrats to all four parents from all
of us here at Burnt Toast!
ALSO:
Joel Houston
has joined the studio!! Jayson left such an empty space (sob), we had
to fill it with a suitable candidate! Joel brings a boundless
enthusiasm to the studio, and we are stoked to have him join the Order
of the Burnt Toast! Welcome to theinked side of the force Joel!
